Pet-Friendly Locations in Midland

If you’re planning to bring your furry friend along on your trip to Midland, there’s no need to limit your outings. Bring them along! Our hospitality runs deep – and that includes four-legged friends. Midland has plenty of activities they can join you on from morning to night. Take a look at our featured five pet-friendly spots in Midland.

1. Midland Downtown Farmers Market

Bring your leashed dog along with you to the Midland Downtown Farmers Market! Rain or shine, local makers set up shop on the beautiful lawn of the Museum of the Southwest. Each booth has items that are either homemade, handcrafted, or homegrown within 100 miles of Midland. Your pet will love walking among the booths as much as you do. And there might even be vendors specifically geared toward your four-legged friend.

2. Hogan Run Dog Park

Next, we have something specifically for your travel companion. Hogan Run has a 5-acre off-leash dog park that locals love. There are two fenced-in spaces: one for medium to large dogs and one for the small but mighty. Both have water fountains and agility equipment. The park also has playgrounds and picnic areas, so you might as well stick around for a while and enjoy one of our many sunny days.

3. Sibley Nature Center

Immerse yourself and your dog in nature and explore the West Texas landscape at Sibley. Animals must be leashed at all times; that’s to protect the wildlife and themselves! Set forth on the massive 49-acre trail system, including two hiking trails. Try the Sibley Environmental Learning Center Pond Loop for a mild but beautiful trail. If you and your dog want something more adventurous, try the Sibley Perimeter Loop with a 6-foot elevation gain.

4. The Patio Drafthouse

Grab a spot on the covered outdoor area of The Patio Drafthouse – your furry friend is welcome to join! The massive wrap-around patio area will have you staying a while on a sunny day. But they do have heaters if there’s a chill in the air. They have a huge beer selection and delicious Mexican fare. This is a great spot to have a great meal without the guilt of leaving your beloved dog behind.

5. Tall City Brewing Co.

Sampling craft brews with your dog by your side sounds like a pretty fantastic evening. Tall City has several West Texas-inspired brews with a fun, pet-friendly patio. There’s no need to choose just one from their list of flagship beers or rotating seasonal options. Sip on a varied flight of your top picks on the patio with your best furry friend. Friendly leashed dogs are allowed on the large patio.

Midland’s hospitality extends to your pet! Let them join in on your West Texas adventure. Plan your visit to Midland!
