Midland, Texas – July 26, 2017, With 15 entertainers scheduled to perform, the annual West Texas Blowout 2 day concert and entertainment event is one to put on your calendar.

The event will take place at the Cimarex Pavilion located between Grande Communication Stadium and Security Bank Ball Park and features 15 entertainment acts over a two day period. Bring your umbrellas and lawn chairs. There will be a children’s area and food and non-food items available for purchase.

“Visitors can expect great entertainment, Texas Country Friday with Aaron Watson, Whiskey Myers, The Electric Cowboys, Flatland Calvary, Chet Johnson and day two Tejano line up Siggno, AJ Castillo, The Hometown Bous, Tropa F, Dezigual, Ruben Ramos, Little Joe Y la Familia, Art Tigerina Ftr Sunny Sauceda & Eddie Gonzales, Brown Express, Anjelique, and giveaways and great food,” said event partners Belinda Carrasco and Edwin Jaquez. “Everybody could use a little break before school starts up.” Along with providing a fun experience, another mission of the event is “Helping Families Get Children Ready For School,” with many of the sponsors and vendors donating school items to help families in need.

Tickets range from $25-$65 and can be purchased online at  or directly at the vendor locations listed on the website. Friday, July 28th, gates open at 4pm and Saturday, July 29th, gates open at 11am with entertainment provided by a DJ and live entertainment beginning at noon.
