Midland, Texas ‐ On Saturday, Oct. 31, and Sunday, Nov. 1, the Silver Spur Gun and Blade Trade Show will take place at the Midland County Horseshoe Pavilion, 2514 Arena Trail. With more than 550 tables, this is the largest gun show in west Texas, and will be the last Silver Spur Gun and Blade Show for 2015.
“We are excited to have been doing these shows in Midland now for 10 years, this year being our anniversary,” said Kim Sansom, show organizer. “The hospitality of Midland is excellent. We love working with the staff at the Midland Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Horseshoe. The support of the people in Midland and the surrounding area is phenomenal. Also, all law enforcement will get in free with their badge. We welcome their presence and thank them for their sacrifices!”
The show will feature new, used, and collectible guns, gun parts, gun holsters, bags, clips, grips, ammunition, reloading equipment and supplies, military, coins, jewelry, items for children and the entire family. Western art and collectibles, display boxes, books, medical packs—the unexpected and unusual—can all be found at this show
Sansom said visitors can expect to see a wide array of merchandise, mostly pertaining to guns and knives, hunting, preparedness, and the unexpected and unusual—all under one roof. There will be items for the entire family.
The trade show will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults and free for children under the age of 12.
