Midland, Texas —June 10 through June 12 the Mid-Town Soldiers Boxing Club & Knights of Columbus #2229 will host the Region 8 Junior Olympics State Boxing Championships at the Midland College Campus in the Physical Education Building in Gym 101, located at 3600 N. Garfield Street.

“We are so excited about hosting our first state tournament here in Midland. There will be many young boxing prospects from all over the state hoping to advance to the National Championship and represent Texas. If you enjoy watching boxing on the TV, you will love seeing these young athletes in live action. Michael Dutchover, Midlandite, recently represented West Texas and won the Silver Gloves National Championship. Join us as we support these young athletes and encourage them to advance in this great sport of boxing. “

Friday: Doors open at 5:00PM – Session 1 Bout starts at 7:00PM
Saturday: Doors open at 11:00AM – Session 2 Bout starts at 1:00PM
                Doors open at 5:00PM – Session 3 Bout starts at 7:00PM
Sunday: Doors open at 11AM – Session 4 Bout starts at 1:00PM

Admission is charged per Session:
Adults - $10
Students (6 – 17) - $5
Children (5 and under) - Free
