Midland, Texas —On Friday, May 14, through Sunday, May 16, Silver Spur Trade Shows will host the 1st Annual Great Outdoors Expo – Fishing, Hunting and Camping. The event will take place at the Midland County Horseshoe, 2514 Arena Trail.

“Visitors should expect to see a wide variety of resources for their next hunting, fishing, and camping trip,” said trade show producer Kim Sansom. “We have worked hard to bring a diverse group of vendors that can really enhance the visitor’s next outdoor adventure.”

Silver Spur Trade Shows is bringing the Great Outdoors Expo to Midland as a way to expose the Permian Basin to a variety of vendors that cater directly to fishing, hunting and camping. Enthusiasts will be able to talk with vendors from around the state and the country to get everything from hunting equipment to specialized hunting and fishing trips.

Show hours are Friday, 3:00 to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is $8.00 for adults, $4.00 for children ages 4 to 12, and $7.00 for seniors. “Senior Special Friday” is from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and offers senior admission for $5.00. Special three-day pass rates will be available on Friday and are $15.00 for adults, $13.00 for seniors, and $7.00 for children ages 4 to 12.

“We bring several trade shows to Midland throughout the year,” Sansom said. “The citizens’ warm and friendly reception, along with the great support from the Permian Basin and The Horseshoe, have always provided us with a venue that brings us back each year.”
