The School of Midland Festival Ballet, The Courtyard at Midland Park 4410 N. Midkiff Rd., Ste. C‐1, Midland, Texas 79705Dust off your dungarees, buff‐shine those boots, and chassé on down to the historic Yucca Theatre, 208 N. Colorado Street, at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, to celebrate Midland Festival Ballet’s 20th anniversary. Surrounded by the Yucca’s colorful and unique Art Deco frescos, friends, and supporters of Midland Festival Ballet will be treated to an evening of dance as colorful and distinct as the architecture. Emceed by KOSA‐TV News Anchor Jay Hendricks and featuring performances by previous guest artists, Midland Festival Ballet alumni, and Company dancers. This evening will be a wonderful commencement of Midland Festival Ballet’s “bringing the beauty of ballet to the basin.” If that is not enough, a social hour with live jazz entertainment and fabulous items up for auction, silent and live, ensure you will leave the Yucca with more than just culture. Catering by Colins Creek Barbeque promises a deliciously messy dinner for all in attendance.
