There will also be activities and entertainment for the entire family including an introduction to bow class for children on Friday and Saturday and a fishing pond for children.
“Midland is one of our favorite places to come, the support and the people are wonderful,” said Show Organizer Kim Sansom. “The help we receive from the Midland Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau are superb, better than anywhere else we go! Great places to eat, shop—just a good central place for the region.”
New this year is the “Fetch N Fish” tub fishing demos, including the High Flying Retriever Dog Show. Wisconsin comedian Curt Strutz will perform the “Fishing for Laughs” family comedy show. The show incorporates balloon twisting and puppets. Also on the main stage will be Bob King and Gary “The Turkey Slayer” Roybal demonstrating fly fishing techniques, hunting preparation and game calling. Texas Junior Anglers will have a fishing tank for children to catch live fish. The Texas Parks & Wildlife “Wall of Shame” will also be featured along with the human hamster ball and kiddie bumper boats.
