The annual concert raises awareness and funds for the Aphasia Center of West Texas, the region’s ongoing, flagship resource for individuals and families coping with a loss of language, typically occurring after stroke. Sponsor tables with reserved seating, valet parking, a catered dinner, plus private bar and facilities are available at www.aphasiawtx.org/concert_2015.php, as well as an excellent music video introduced by none other than Mick Fleetwood himself.

“I’m proud to be chair for this fun night of music,” said Nancy Anguish, 2015 Honorary Event Chair.  “I’ve watched the difference the Aphasia Center makes since its very beginning; I’d do most anything to help.”

Museum of the Southwest will provide children’s activities. Gates open at 8 p.m. Tony Barker takes the stage at 8:15 p.m. and Fleetwood Mask takes the stage at 9 p.m. No outside food or drink allowed.  Admission to the Concert is FREE!

Additional facts:

Fleetwood Mask
Claudette Rodrigues (Stevie Nicks)  has been singing since she was five years old. Having a natural ‘Stevie Nicks’ vibrato has always set her apart. Influenced by Fleetwood Mac in high school, Claudette found inspiration through Stevie Nicks, as well as Etta James, Cyndi Lauper, and various Motown artists.  Having the opportunity to perform Fleetwood Mac's classic songs live is a "dream come true" for Claudette.

Barbara Martin's (Christine McVie)  earliest musical influences were in the works of Bach, Mozart, Schumann, Mendelssohn and Gershwin.  Amidst all of the formal training in classical piano, she ventured into playing the piano arrangements of The Beatles, Elton John, Carole King and Christine McVie.  Barbara has always been inspired by the singing/songwriting skills of Christine McVie and when she was invited to join Fleetwood Mask as "Christine," the only answer Barb could give was "HELL YES!"

Don Oberempt (Mick Fleetwood)  grew up in New England in the 70's with a professional guitar player step‐father, Don was introduced to a wide range of music at an early age.  He was immediately drawn to the drums and began studying the instrument at the age of 10 counting John Bonham, Carl Palmer, Ginger Baker and Keith Moon as his early rock influences.  Introduced to Fleetwood Mac in the mid 70's, Don was attracted to the rhythmic beat drumming style of Mick Fleetwood and the syncopated drum patterns demonstrated on the songs "Go Your Own Way", "Tusk" and "Rhiannon."  Having the opportunity to re‐create Fleetwood Mac's music and play it live for fans of this historic rock band is both an honor and a privilege.

Paul Jones (John McVie)  started playing bass before he was a teenager and became popular with the local bands because he played bass (everyone else played guitar!).  He had a Fender Jazz bass and a full Ampeg SVT stack.  Paul was influenced by 70's and 80's rock, soul, funk and punk.  His top influences are Geddy Lee from Rush, Andy West from the Dixie Dregs, Stanley Clarke, Sting and, of course,  John McVie.  Today,  Paul enjoys playing the role of the dedicated bass player and business guy in Fleetwood Mask.  He uses Alembic, Zon, Emerald and Fender basses and SWR amplification.

Mark Blasquez (Lindsey Buckingham)  is an accomplished performer who has worked with artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Guns and Roses, Berlin, and Ministry.  His original music can be heard on movie trailers and TV shows such as CSI, Burn Notice, Smallville, and many others.  Mark's stylistic musicianship channels the spirit and sound of Lindsey Buckingham and Fleetwood Mac.
