On Saturday, April 12 through Thursday, April 17th, the 55th Annual West
Texas Lectureship will be held in Midland at the Lee Street Church of Christ, 101 N. Lee
Street. Ministers from several states have prepared 30-minute lectures to present using this
year’s theme: "Crucified with Christ—The Gospel of Grace in Galatians and Related
Passages.”
A musical will kick off this year's event on Saturday, April 12, 4 to 8 p.m., featuring several
out-of-town a cappella singing groups. There will be congregational singing as well followed
by a fellowship meal in the church’s activity building. On Sunday, April 13, the schedule
includes morning worship from 9:55 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; lunch provided in the Activity
Building; afternoon sessions from 2 to 5 p.m. and evening worship from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Monday through Wednesday sessions are from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., 1:15 to 5 p.m., and 7
to 9 p.m. Thursday morning sessions are from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. with a banquet 7 to 9
p.m. at the Petroleum Club, 501 W. Wall Street.
