On Saturday, April 13 through Thursday, April 18th, the 54th Annual West Texas Lectureship will be held in Midland at the Lee Street Church of Christ, 101 N. Lee Street. Ministers from several states have prepared 30-minute lectures to present using this year’s theme: "Upon This Rock—Back to the Basics!”

A musical will kick off this year's event on Saturday, April 13, 4 to 8 p.m., featuring several out-of-town a cappella singing groups. There will be congregational singing as well followed by a fellowship meal in the church’s activity building. On Sunday, April 14, the schedule includes morning worship from 9:55 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; lunch provided in the Activity Building; afternoon sessions from 2 to 5 p.m. and evening worship from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday sessions are from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., 1:15 to 5 p.m., and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday morning sessions are from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. with a banquet 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ranchland Hills Country Club, 1600 E. Wadley.
